Aciclovir tablets are used for the treatment of Herpes labialis (recurrent Herpes labialis infections).
Aciclovir tablets are prescribed at a dose of 200 mg three times daily for 5 days duration. Follow your doctor's instructions from your prescription label. Consult your doctor if symptoms persist. If your doctor approves the treatment, you will take the tablets at the same time each day for best results.
The following side effects may occur in some patients. Do not take more than 3 consecutive days without medical advice. If you get any side effects not mentioned in the patient information leaflet, you must seek immediate medical attention.

Patients who take Aciclovir tablets should be aware of the following side effects. We have not experienced any side effects when not taken correctly. On rare occasions, Aciclovir may lead to flat or lump in the breasts. This usually happens as a warning sign of kidney problems in the treated area. If this happens, it is possible for you to get symptoms of severe brain damage. On rare occasions, you may experience severe loss of vision. On those rare occasions, you may develop severe symptoms of severe brain damage such as loss of sensitivity to the sun, prolonged sunlight exposure, or a decrease in bone mineral density. Signs and symptoms of severe brain damage include changes in taste, swallowing, talking, and thinking. We have not experienced any symptoms of severe side effects of Aciclovir treatment.

Zovirax Cold Sore Cream is a prescription medicine used to treat cold sores. This medicine is available only with a doctor's prescription. Zovirax Cold Sore Cream is also used for the treatment of chickenpox, shingles, genital herpes, and herpes labialis.
Zovirax Cold Sore Cream should be applied 5 times a day at approximately 4 hourly intervals for 5-7 days. It is important to continue applying the cream even if you feel better, as it may take up to 2 weeks for the cream to have its full effects. If you miss a application, apply it as soon as you remember, and continue your regular schedule. Do not apply more than 3 cream a day to achieve the desired results.
Do not use Zovirax Cold Sore Cream if you are allergic to any of its ingredients.
